She graduated from Plovdiv English Language School. Ms. Miteva proceeded with her education at the University of National and World Economy, where she gained a MA degree in Macroeconomics (1989). She is fluent in English and speaks good Russian.As of October 2003 Ms. Miteva has been a Member of the Management Board and Executive Director of DSK Bank. She started her banking career at Xios Bank (1993 - 1994), then transferred to ING Bank Sofia Branch as a Financial Controller and Assistant Operations Manager (1994 - 1999), and then joined Demirbank-Bulgaria AD as a Finance Controller and Senior Manager in Marketing, Credit and Business Development (1999 - 2002).
