While in law school I harboured a secret dream to become a journalist and/or a writer (conceivably both..). All it took for me to become a lawyer was to read an interview with an inspiring female lawyer and to try my hand at working for a law firm to become a member of “Team Law”. I went from a Czech law firm to a Magic Circle one and subsequently to a US firm with a penchant for fulfilling and challenging client mandates. I am a People & Technology lawyer (read: loves both, cannot choose one). I have two kids, two cats, a dog and a Twitter account. I truly appreciate the team I work with at Squire, because it makes all the difference in the world. I am frequently torn between best.were.done.quickly and sometimes.you.just.have.to.slow.down.to.get.where.you.want.to.be.
