Petra Berecová studied at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Comenius University in Bratislava and subsequently at the Faculty of Law, specializing in international relationships. She worked in the automotive industry as HR director at Yazaki Slovakia. She has been with Slovak Telekom (Deutsche Telekom AG) since 2005, initially working in T-Mobile Slovensko’s HR Division as Head of Compensation and Benefits. Since 2007 she was managing T-Mobile's HR Division, participating in all Company's business decisions as a member of top management. As of 1 January 2010 she assumed the position of the Executive Vice-President for Human Resources of Slovak Telekom, while preparing the integration of T-Mobile Slovensko and Slovak Telekom, a.s. Since the integration of ST and T-Mobile in July 2010, Petra Berecová as a member of ST Executive Management Board is holding the position of Chief HR Officer.
