Between 1997 and 2006, Vladimir worked for the Czech national bank. After that, he switched to the private sector and between 2007 - 2010 he was in the lead of Aegon insurance and pension fund. From September 2010 till May 2013 he worked as a CEO of Generali insurance company in Slovakia. Currently he works for Generali Group as a CEO of the largest Czech insurance company, Česká spořitelna and he is also in charge of its business in the area of Central and Eastern Europe. Vladimir also participated in many Czech government consultancy bodies (e.g. the National Economic Council). He is known for his deep knowledge of the pension system and its reform. He is married with four kids. He likes to spend his free time with his family, playing golf and sometimes he likes to join a card game. He lives in Dobřichovice, where he's been voted a local council member three times in a row.
