Petr Brávek started his banking career in Creditanstalt where he was responsible for implementation of several key banking projects. In 2001, he switched to HVB Czech Republic and as Member of Board of Directors; he was responsible for organisation, finance and private banking. From 2005, he was employed in Prague Airport and then he moved to Česká sporiteľňa as Head of Organisation Division and CIO. He came to Slovenská sporiteľňa from his position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of s IT Solutions Holding in Vienna. As part of this job position, he participated in an important IT restructuring project in Erste Group. On 1 April 2012, Petr Brávek became new Member of Board Directors of Slovenská sporiteľňa.
