Vaclav worked 19 years in different management positions in the major pharmaceutical company Merck (known as MSD in Europe) out of which almost 12 years as the Managing Director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Under his leadership the Czech subsidiary won several internal awards for the fastest growing country organization and successfully underwent several major restructurings and one of the biggest mergers in the industry.
