She graduated from Plovdiv English Language School. Ms. Miteva proceeded with her education at the University of National and World Economy, where she gained a MA degree in Macroeconomics (1989). She is fluent in English and speaks good Russian.As of October 2003 Ms. Miteva has been a Member of the Management Board and Executive Director of DSK Bank. She started her banking career at Xios Bank (1993 - 1994), then transferred to ING Bank Sofia Branch as a Financial Controller and Assistant Operations Manager (1994 - 1999), and then joined Demirbank-Bulgaria AD as a Finance Controller and Senior Manager in Marketing, Credit and Business Development (1999 - 2002). At Demirbank-Bulgaria AD she became a Management Board Member and Executive Director (January 2002 - 2003). In 2003 Ms. Diana Miteva was appointed Member of the Management Board and Executive Director of DSK Bank. In November 2011 Diana Miteva received the prestigious Andras Fay award in recognition of her successful work and results in the implementation and promotion of the Private Banking project of DSK Bank. At the end of January 2014 Diana Miteva was awarded Atanas Bourov Prize for Bank Management 2013. Her leisure activities include sports, movies, reading.
