Isold Heemstra has been appointed as CEO of ING Bank Czech Republic as of 1st September 2016. Prior to this position, Mr. Heemstra headed the Mortgage Division of ING-DiBa in Germany, after having the position as Chief Marketing & Strategy Manager of ING-DiBa. Before moving back to ING Bank, Mr. Heemstra was the Chief Operating and Strategy Officer (COO) for ING Insurance Berhad (now AIA) in Malaysia with the responsibility for all Life and General Insurance Operations, IT Division, Mortgage Division, Customer Service and Branch Network and Strategic Business Change. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Heemstra was member of the senior management team of RVS Insurance in the Netherlands, successive responsible as Sales District Director and Director of Sales Support at the RVS Head Office. He was appointed in 2003 to implement a banc-assurance program for ING Bank/Retail in The Netherlands for distribution of mortgages and life insurance. In 2002, Isold Heemstra joined ING Group as member of the Global Management Program and moved to ING Direct in Canada to setup the mortgage channel for direct distribution. In his free time he draws the energy through squash, tennis, traveling and photography.
