Velitchka Hristova is a Senior Banker and Director at Bank Gutmann AG with over 11 years of private banking and business development experience in Central and Eastern Europe, Southeastern Europe, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. In her current role, Velitchka Hristova is responsible for setting up and growing the private banking franchise and expanding the network of professional partners. She is also a member of the Bank Gutmann AG’s Wealth Structuring Services team and the Family Business Owners initiative. In her capacity as Financial Advisor and Relationship Manager, Velitchka Hristova has worked extensively with first generation family business owners and entrepreneurs. Originally from Bulgaria, Velitchka Hristova has previously worked in a major non-profit organization in Minnesota, prior to moving back to Europe. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and in History from the American University in Bulgaria; a Masters Degree in Central and Eastern European History from the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary; and an MBA from INSEAD in France. While at the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG), Velitchka Hristova was the President of the Student Government and the Student Representative to the Board of Directors. She has also served on the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG's) Alumni Association Board of Directors and was involved in the setting up the Bulgarian Chapter of the INSEAD Alumni Association. Velitchka Hristova is also completing Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP) and Certificate in Family Wealth Advising (CFWA) qualifications. She speaks five languages and loves to travel.
