Jana graduated from the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague, but devoted all her career to human resources. She gained her first professional experience while preparing training programs at the Institute of Modern Management and organizing conferences for the Charles University. From 1993 to 2002 she held several HR positions at Čokoládovny, moving from the Training Manager to the HR Director.
