Between 1997 and 2006, Vladimir worked for the Czech national bank. After that, he switched to the private sector and between 2007 - 2010 he was in the lead of Aegon insurance and pension fund. From September 2010 till May 2013 he worked as a CEO of Generali insurance company in Slovakia. Currently he works for Generali Group as a CEO of the largest Czech insurance company, Česká spořitelna and he is also in charge of its business in the area of Central and Eastern Europe.
